A PARADIGMN SHIFT.

BIOLOGICAL FARMING

REGENERATIVE

A MOVEMENT IN AGRICULTURE THAT INVOLVES A HUMBLER APPROACH WHERE WE WORK ALONGSIDE NATURAL LAWS, RATHER THAN AGAINST THEM.

This concept has many names: biological farming, regenerative farming, ecological farming. Some may argue that it is simply, farming, as this is how nature intended it to be.

Regardless of what you may call it, the ideology remains consistent - bringing forth a deeper observation of how plants are grown in a natural ecosystem. How dead plant matter is decomposed and their nutrients are cycled. How pests are regulated by predatory insects and how the soil microbiome plays a leading role in so many aspects of plant health.

Climate change cannot be ignored and we must all contribute in as many ways possible to recondition our planet.

In order to accelerate the process of increasing our soil health we must keep living roots in the ground for as many days of the year as Mother Nature will allow us. By doing this, through the process of photosynthesis, we are contributing in the sequestration of atmospheric carbon (aka CO2).

This is an obvious win-win. We are adding organic matter to our acreage and reducing the blanket of greenhouse gases at the same time.

What does this mean for you?

Biologically grown produce raises the bar of quality.
As soil health increases, so does the quality of the plants grown within it. This includes better taste, increased shelf-life and enhanced nutrient content - many of which are missing in the produce we find ourselves eating today.

Our family can promise you that we are steering ourselves in a direction that focuses on a long-term systematic farming approach with soil health, plant health, human health and planetary health at the forefront of our priorities.

We hope that these practices and beliefs are parallel to yours and that you find value in them.
